01 · our stories go deeper
We go deeper than the label. Every piece is grown on a named farm, traced through fleece, spin and small-batch dye, then sealed with a chip that keeps the whole story with you — for as long as you wear it.
Start with a shape.
Three pieces, three places.
We don't invent our colours.
We find them.
Every shade is pulled from the land the wool grows on. We carry a yarn card into the landscape, match it against the real thingGoing deeperCobalt was matched at 04:42 by the lake — that exact blue only holds for about eleven minutes a day., and dye in small batches until it reads true in daylight.
Our swim shorts embrace the water, but remain grounded in nature. Crafted from quick-drying merino, they sit perfectly between the spontaneity of an ocean dip and the quiet luxury of drying in the sun.
Our T-shirts and polos have the ease of something simple, with a little more shape, texture and intention than the usual warm-weather layer.
Three collections, one continuous story.
One small dot. A direct line to the flock.
A near-field chip lives inside every garment. Tap it with your phone and you land on the exact farm your wool came from — weather today, lambing news, a letter from the shepherd. No app. No account.
Tap the dot.
A near-field chip attached to every garment. Hold your phone to it.
Land on the farm.
One of the farms your wool came from — name, family, terrain, weather this week.
Stay with the flock.
Lambing, shearing and seasonal letters from the shepherds, for the life of the piece.
Lake Hāwea Station
This is where the dot lands you. Every Sheep Inc. garment traces back to a named high-country station — one of a handful of regenerative farms we work with across New Zealand, each grown from the same standard of care.

Central Otago, NZ
Not all wool is our wool.
We could talk in generalities about merino. We'd rather show you the four things that make ours different — from the soil it grows on to the water it's dyed inGoing deeperClosed-loop and bluesign®-approved — the water leaves the mill cleaner than it arrived..
