THE CONNECTED DOT
The Connected Dot can tell you exactly how your individual knit was made, and how much carbon was produced at every step. We started to add them to clothes, to help people connect the dots on where our clothes really come from. We also wanted to make ourselves as transparent as possible.
THE RADICAL FARMING FUND: GIVING BACK
Our farmers have more on their minds than sheep. Each Sheep Station runs projects that regenerate the land and protect the idigenous creatures who live on it. We invest 3% of our revenue into these radical projects, which are selected with the help of ZQ’s Regenerative Index (ZQRX).
SHEEP TECH
The only material with twelve thousand years of product development. Merino has been renowned for centuries. Now, by combining traditional techniques and modern innovations, Sheep Inc. has created wool like none other. The scientific distillation of ‘that favourite sweater feeling’.
SHEEP WELFARE
We only work with sheep stations that are ZQ certified, meaning they conform to the highest animal welfare standards worldwide. All the sheep are free to roam the vast properties they inhabit, and each station must guarantee five essential freedoms to the sheep. Free from thirst, free to live naturally, free from discomfort, free from distress and free from disease.
THE KNIT CLINIC
Our favourite clothes are often the ones that get the most wear. So, if your knit needs a few stitches or to get back into shape, you can send it to our sweater clinic and we’ll restore it as best we can. We’ll do this for life. Even in 50 years when we’re only wearing NFTs, you will still be able to send your knit back to us.
SOFTNESS GUARANTEE
Our Merino fleeces are spun in Italy from hand-selected ultra-fine Merino wool,
making them unfeasibly soft, yet incredibly strong. Our fibres are extra long which makes them even softer and prevents pilling, and is so sought after that it is only released in limited batches.
MACHINE WASHABLE WOOL
No more trips to the dry cleaner. No more hand washing. Just pop your favourite Sheep Inc. piece into the machine and let technology do the work. Because luxury should be effortless. Cold wash and gentle spin for the win!
100% BIODEGRADABLE
Less than 1% of textile waste is recycled into new fibres. This contributes to massive textile waste issues and micro plastic pollution. All our garments, on the other hand are 100% biodegradable, put one of our sweaters in the ground and it is gone within 6 months to a year without any lasting impact and feeds the soil with nutrients as it biodegrades.
SOLAR POWERED MANUFACTURING
We scour our wool (tease the dirt out) in a B- Corp textile factory in Italy running on solar-power. And we knit all our knits in Portugal on Wholegarment® knitting machines that run off a solar panel array on the roof.
